P2 Card Price in the USA

Hi,

Sorry if this is in the wrong place. I was looking at the price of the 64Gb P2 card and found that it was around £950 before VAT and I was wondering if anyone knew the price of the card over in the states.

I've got some friends making their way to America in a few weeks, and if the price is a huge difference on ours then I'm going to consider asking them to pick me one up.

I've, admittedly, only had a quick look on Google and couldn't come up with anything other than articles on the announcement of the 64Gb.

If the 64 isn't out yet, it would be great if you could let me know the price of the 32Gb model, if you know it.

The 64 isn't available.

32 GB cards run about $1550.00USD.

You might save a little bit, 15-20%, but remember if you need warranty service you'll have to ship and deal with the U.S.

Spec-Comm will be able to inform you about the costs associated with customs.

edit: if we could buy 64GB cards for under $1800 (950 GBP), I would have one. Seems like a good price to me.

I found that on the Creative Video page. On their actual website it says to call them for pricing, but when the specific page was found by the Google search engine it said £950 +VAT in the preview lines.
