So I am watching the HD Bootcamp and the first lesson we start learning about frame rate but when I go to my menu the frame rate line is not under "Operation Type" like in the DVD. Have I done something with my menu settings?
I did a quick search and did not find anything... sorry if this has already been posted... but I assume other people are far more advanced than I and have not dealt with something as small as this.
thanks

Are you certain your camera is in P2 mode and not in Tape mode?
Check the switch on the back/bottom-left of the camera.

frame rate is in the scene file menu... hit menu, hit enter, and you should see the frame rate right there.

if you want the recording format, hit menu, scroll to option 5 and hit enter. change your recording format there. Then go back to the scene file menu and change your frame rate.

Later,
Jason

Right; you need to be sure of which frame rate you're looking for. Are you looking for the base frame rate for the footage or the variable frame rate? The base frame rate is in the Recording Format menu; the variable frame rate is in the Scene File menu.
