Loading Arri BL4 Mags

Hi,

Im doing a film soon on 35mm using the Arriflex BL4 camera. I was just wondering what loading these mags is like?

Ive heard you need to cut the film off straight and between the perf holes, so you needs special scissors to cut the film off straight.

Just wondering what its like in comparison to the Aaton 35mm mags?

Hi,
Loading with BL is much easier than Aaton, just look for the correct loops and you need to cut straight with scissors but I did tear with my hand between the sprocket hole and it works when I left my scissors.
