Any recommendations for good hosting for cheap prices. I was using Dream Host for my first year of having a website. It is 120 USD per year for 400GB of space, and a lot of bandwidth. Out of the 400GB of space I could use, I only used like 4GB for my videos, and I am pretty sure not many people visited my site unless I linked them to it. I can not afford 120 USD per year, are there better options?

i use go daddy too. i havent tried anything else but so far it seems cheap!!! i dont have anywheere near 400gigs tho.. i think i have ten.. ha ha.. but i cant see ever needing more than that..i pay like $50 for a year.

I don't really know much about web hosting, but for the site I just started, I'm using A Small Orange and they seem pretty sweet.
I'm paying $50/year for 400 megs of space and 10 gigs of bandwidth.
They don't donate to a good cause necessarily, but if you use this link http://refer.asmallorange.com/18221, they'll give me a referral credit, so you'd be donating to me (and I'm a decent cause).

While we are talking about evil, i would stay away from godaddy, fine for domains, terrible for hosting.
< had a 2000+ dollar hosting overage charge :huh:
