literally. we rented a moving truck and were unloading some things for storage. and i slipped off the back. hit the ground hard (actually, i hit the filthiest gutter in los angeles hard). broke my toe. must have looked like an idiot. didn't hit my head but i was dizzy and everything got bright and i was sick to my stomach.
funny thing is, one of the actors in Heart of Now is also a professional stuntman and he trained Marion, the lead, how to take a fall. and i think if i hadn't been witness to that, i probably would have broken both my wrists because as fast as it happened, i had the presence of mind to counter the fall by smacking my forearms on the ground just before i hit.
so i can't put much weight on my right foot, and both my arms are aching so much that i can't even open my own water bottles. it's pretty awesome.
