Here's a good article about how to format a resume the right way:

http://more.showfax.com/columns/corner/archives/2005_02_21.html#000522

Of course, the "right way" is subjective, but if you follow this format, you can't go wrong.

That's a nice article. Now if I could just get shit to put on my resume, I would be good.

Phew, I was sort of afraid to click on that thinking it was going to be some terribly different format from what I'm using, turns out it's almost identical, minus the casting agency's information.

Great post though and it does answer a lot of questions I had when I was starting out. Thanks Tom.

That's the easy part. The hard part is finding stuff good enough to put on your reel...

Ah, this is true. We should make out own good stuff. Hmmm...it would almost be a conspiracy. :)

Not only that, but I have her taking your hand off her hip and saying "No, Tommy. HERE." and putting your hand on her ass. Way to go. That's a nice ass.

Sorry....what was this thread about?

I said I was sorry because I had the pictures of her ass posted for about 11 minutes before I took them down. You guys were probably off flirting in PMs and didnt notice. So sorry.

Your honey was in one of them.

Damn it! My computer was off and I was trying to convince the new puppy that there was nothing wrong with the house and that it was time to go to bed.

You know my email address.

Just kidding...kind of. :)

Mostly. Well...yeah.

Did I really miss them again? And what is Tommy on about with his job...?

This is brilliant.

Use it, Nick!!! Nice job, Tommy. The transparency is a niiice touch. Did you use Illustrator for the logo design? (or did you cheat and use Ps?)

Tom Marshall
08-07-2008, 10:02 AM
Ha! Cheat? Me?

If you go to post #29, I threw up a penguin photo and Nick said he wanted it, so I took that photo and created a vector mask in Photoshop and blah blah blah...

GageFX
08-07-2008, 10:14 AM
Vector in PS, vector in AI, same tool.

If I were to do what you did, I'd do it in PS. If I were to create something new, I might do it in AE, I might just do it in PS. Depends on my mood.

What is this thread about again?

Oh yeah...

**delete K's ass**

Tom Marshall
08-07-2008, 10:24 AM
Well, would you look at that...

Illustrator is so much better for working with vectors. I'm addicted to the smooth pencil tool in AI.

Wait! Was it in this post too? Dammit! You know, I got up today before 8 because the puppy woke up and he ran around for a bit and someone else got up and I handed him off and went back to bed until 11. Then I read some and went to town and came back and read some more and turned on the computer to find that I missed it yet again!?

This thread was about resumes? Damn. We really hijacked it. Now it should be renamed "Penguin Thread."
