HVX200 image color irregularity

I saw this reported a while back with the hvx200 - that the right and left halves of the image had different color casts in earlier models. I see it now in our camera when shooting a scene with a very uniform image in terms of color and content. Does anyone know how this is fixed? Does the camera get sent back to Panasonic, is there a downloadable firmware fix, what?
