Color Matching two shots in Vegas 8?

Hi guys, I need your expert advice on color matching the two shots below. I'm trying to match the first photo to the second. I've tried my limited ways and can't seem to match them close enough.
Can anyone give me the right settings? ANY help would be greatly appreciated.

Personally, I would start with getting each of them properly white balanced with the color corrector tool, using the gray of the walls as my reference, using the midrange eye-drop tool as a starting point... hmmmm.

Give me an hour. This would be a fun challenge.
