Sorry dont have any cut footage at this stage. Not my production - DOP only.
Some grabs - last one is being re-shot at my request as I was vocal about the framing used.
These are straight out without CC.

Noel, your take on the camera? VS your hpx500, for example?

OK the EX has good resolution. I use the fujinon lens on my HPX and I would say from about 30mm the HPX is equal. When you go full wide theres more on the EX for sure.
The buck pretty much stops there for me. The HPX offers far more control when shooting, better dynamic range, (and not considering 2/3" primes here to keep the field level as possible) the 2/3" DOF is far easier to control. The HPX has 4 channel audio, and really theres not a great deal you can compare here, HPX is well ahead.
Then again the Ex is a small format camera, if thats important to you. Easy to get it around, camera, bag, batts, couple of filters. HPX requires a bit more on size and weight. If your not professionally using the cam then I dont see much need for all that. The SXS can record for longer times etc etc.
If you need small format, for me the EX is great, but a 2/3" chip camera it is not. If you compare to the 330 or 350 xdcam youd be getting a bit closer. Good res, 1/2" chips etc. But even they are much stronger on audio than the EX. Talking image alone, I loved the Canon A1, but never liked the audio into cam much. This continues for me a bit with the EX. No problem, if all you want to do is take nice images, which it does. But similar to the HVX (not referring to the new version here as I havent used one), the range is limited (but better).
Now before everyone jumps all over me, I DID NOT SAY THE EX CANT GIVE USEABLE AUDIO AT REASONABLE QUALITY. I said the direct to cam Audio is not as good as the HPX or XDcam 330 or 350.
