I know the camera is new and all but I was wondering if Panasonic had plans on releasing hats and t-shirts with our camera on them....I know Panavision and other film companies have shirts and hats and jackets available.

OMG - I HOUNDED Panasonic when I first got my camera for a friggin' baseball cap that said "Panasonic", "DV Cinema" - anything. I called Stuart English in NJ. I cornered Jan Crittendon at the Panasonic event at VTP in Burbank and begged her to send me one. I called a couple of the service centers in Calif. (I even offered to pay for one.) I also had a friend who helps out with Panasonic's booth at the tradeshows try to track one down for me. All I can say is, I don't think such a thing exists. Which is too bad since its great publicity. Everyone from Panasonic said they should make 'em and maybe even remembered seeing one once. But it never materialized.

Sure do have contacts, you need a design/logo/wording and those are digitized pretty cheap these days and an idea of quantity vs. apparel item. I'm guessing hats would be the most popular, but the price is gonna be different for 50 vs. 500. The stitch count is a large part of the price which is related to size complexity of said logo. Then the apparel item hard cost. I'm sure I can get you a very competitive price.

alright lil red let me know.. maybe we will do a pre-order thing to see how many we can get to get the price down. I am guessing the embroidery is what you are talking about, good for hats for sure.
As for shirts, what do you guys think, screen printed T's or embroidered polos?

Wow, tough decision, but I lean towrds the embroidered idea. Be sure they have the forum's colors.

a jpeg will do, or a line drawing, something clean and can include colors.

So you guys doing hats or T-shirts? I'd be down for a T-shirt. I can prolly come up with a design but I don't think we can use any official Panasonic logos correct?? We'd need to use our custom logo that mentions panasonic and DV Cinema?

Count me in on the hat and Polo shirt.
Back when I bought my Sony PD100, they sent me a cheesy black cap that said HandyCam. YEAH....you can bet I wore that!
