So I am going to get a directors cut done as soon as I have time. I am going to re do most of the dialog ADR and add more plausible sound effects and color correct it as it should have been and maybe a little SPFX here and there to fix a couple areas I am not happy with. I am also going to make the newspaper more realistic looking. I may also add a couple of scenes that were cut for time not sure yet we shall see.....

OK so I have been sick as Bill Murray in Osmosis Jones. Haven't had much energy to do a damn thing but I have done some storyboarding. I found out I am not as bad a of an artist as I thought. Anyway been working on that and think I have narrowed the editing style down. Hopefully I can get the location I am shooting for today. We shall see.

So after spending half the day creating sets for my virtual storyboard (what a waste of time) I have concluded that unless you really know your way around the program it was a complete waste of time for a short film. So that being said back to the drawing board for real.

Ok so sleeping all day got me nothing but a sleep hangover this morning but I did start trying to use FrameForge 2 and it is a cool program so maybe I will have cool storyboards after all..Hahahaha. Of course it might take longer to figure out the program then to draw all my little stick figures. We shall see...

Well I am attempting to do some new storyboarding and they look like a kindergartener did them, but they just might work anyway.

Well I am trying to make the ending more fitting of the story and add some more action to it.
I think we figured out a way to kill off some characters pretty convincingly.
And my storyboards are in the trash, man I wish I could draw.

We are still tentatively planning on shooting on the 4th and 5th of Oct. (crosses fingers and grimaces). I will be in Las Vegas on the 27th and 28th of this month helping John LaBonney with "Barn Dance". And am still waiting to hear from a potential sponsor and location for "The Accidental Hitman".

Hey guys I am locking down the final location tomorrow and if all goes well I won't have to do any re writing. Got back from Vegas at 6:30pm and it was freaking awesome working John LaBonney. Look out for "Barn Dance" it is gonna ROCK. Thats all I am saying. I am so glads we were able to get the Gangstas out without any major problems...

Yup Tom I am making up call sheets tomorrow and I got the location and am working on a couple other little things and we are set. My boss oh so reluctantly gave me yet another weekend off to shoot this. So I have to get it done or I will probably lose my job if I ask for any more time off. It should be worth it in the long run but we shall see. Thanks for all the encouragement guys. And Alex maybe you should try Alex The Axe.

Ok so I need at least 3 days to finish up the storyboards and scene breakdowns and develop my call sheet but only really have 2. I don't have key props and have to make them myself and that should take a couple of days and added all together I should move this out at least a week but I can't finish post that way and everyone is locked into doing it this weekend . So I figured out if I don't sleep till Sunday night I should get it all done and finished on time.

Thanks Tom I have been sifting through a ton of great footage, but some shots just say use me. I have already cut the original edit down from around 7:12 to 5:43, Jeremiah came by to polish up some of my editing and make a crucial SPFX shot come to life. Thanks brother. And of course thanks to all the great people I got to work with on this one. I am looking forward to actually having a budget some day, might make it a little easier to do. Anyway I am gonna finish up some more editing and then off to sleep a few hours and wake up and do it all again.

Well I am not sure I will be posting any more grabs but I will tell you that aside from very little sleep, and work I have been editing all the live long day everyday. It all looks the same to me now and I am not sure if I can look at it any more without going MAD. But I will keep plugging on. I have to get a locked edit to Justin Durban ASAP. Man next time I need a SPFX guy and a sound designer, or I won't even try this again.

Cool that is good to hear. Wow both films done and loaded up, congrats. Do you know if you got a copy of the book yet? I hope we can all get these films done in time. I am killing myself here, I really need to get a good sound guy to help us out from now on. But beside that we should be ready to roll here pretty quick.

Thanks man I am also looking forward to yours. As all can see I am wide awake on my third day with little to no sleep. Man I have got to get a real sound guy for the next fest and some one to do my SPFX, oh and while I am at it an editor would help. SOUND DESIGN is not my forte. Need sleep but can't... must hold on...just a little longerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...
