Script is almost locked. Alex is making some changes and we'll be on our way.
Looking for some supplies, may get them on Ebay.
Locations are pretty close, and I'll be doing new things which I've never done before (directing a dog in some scenes)

You guys do know that he entered a film for TimeFest, don't you? He never posted in it save the first thread starting post and he probably won't post in this one, the scared sonofab*tch. You know I'm just messin' Como, I love the poster, let me say that publicly (since I already told you on MSN).
I would have been here sooner but my car is out of the shop and I finally got to test out that 403. I will probably be back in it soon.

You guys do know that he entered a film for TimeFest, don't you?
...but of course! I really enjoyed his film. What I DIDN'T see was an entry by YOU Penguin? (I know, I know...you wrote a few of them...but is it really the same thing?)
So get off it and enter!! (oh...wait, you're too young to drink...) :):)

I started my own entry last time, Zaza! It just fell through for a number of reasons. Go look up the thread, it was titled "Prove It"
Having to go find it yourself is punishment for not knowing about it. And I did write a few, which takes some time. I don't know about this fest, I might surprise you guys. But what I would rather do is write some and act in some.

Actually Como doesn't really exist. It's a glitch in the system that automatically posts a random entry each fest.

Ahh...he told me that people were giving him a hard time for posting too much "fluff" so he's decided to be a little bi*ch and not post anymore.

I agree, Mike. Maybe we should all threaten to give his film just one star unless he starts to post again and gets over this little fit he's having.
Come out of your cave, Mr. Como!

HO-LEE CRAP! I did NOT see this coming, Robbie.
I tried to explain to him why we were all giving him a hard time about this, I didn't know it made him decide to come back. I would have expected him to make his big comeback with a bang. I don't know, some sort of crazy campaign.

Script is getting some reviews.
Alex is changing around the script, adding dialog and more characteristics.
Basically got cast locked.

Glad to see you posting again robbie, hope to see more it. You had some great stuff in timefest, looking forward to seeing what you bring out this time around. And dammit post in this thread about what you are doing. That was maybe the biggest dissapointment about your timefest entry was that there wasnt much background info on the development etc. Keep us posted on how this one is going.
And just ignore little miss penguin up there. He's just jealous because no one would say anything if he stopped posting... :)

Robbie, if you want me to take another look at the script after Alex runs through it, let me know. If I am not as busy as I was last time, perhaps I will be of more help.

You spelled 'things' wrong.
And directing a good dog is easy, if you understand dogs (and if it's the right dog). If not, find someone who does.

Things is a very hard word to spell.
And as long as you have a well trained dog, you should be okay. And one that works well with people. A dog that wanders and isn't trained - bad idea.

I've worked with dogs in film. Call your local dog trainer - there are many - and they show up and handle the dog part. Usually free if you give them a plug in the credits.

I used my dog in my last movie (The Watchman). He did a really great job. :)

We used in TimeFest two dogs - Great Danes. It was easy, because this kind of dog is very calm. To make them stop and sniffeling we put liver pate under the red shoes of our MC. First we thought about to use our own dog. It is a Golden Retriver. Our dog, his name is Rufus, is very lively and dominant and nearly never he obeys when we are outside of the apartment. After the first thought about to use him, it was very clear that we never ever will do this! The most people are thinking that Golden Retriver are very calm dogs, but every dog has also his own character. What I want to say is: look the dog what you want to use for your film very well under this point!
Best wishes
Susanne
