Hi guys. It's me. I am pleased to announce that the distribution rights to The 4th Beast: Mask of the Antichrist has been sold to a distribution company in LA. As you guys know this was my first film, and it was shot on a DVX100. Thank you all for your support and I'll keep everyone informed as to when it will hit stores.

Way to go! Now, why don't you tell us a little about this distribution company and how the deal came to be?

I've got friends that do that too. Wait until around midnight then start watching a film. I do that myself sometimes. I'm glad you enjoyed it though. I'm getting some pretty positive feed back. I think people were pretty suprised at what we got for under a grand.

I looked at the project and tried to figure who would be most interested in it based on the movies they put out. So I sent it to the several of the most likely distributors and tried see who bit. I also advertised it in the "films for sale" section on mandy.com and got some bites too. As for as specifics distributors do like for sellers to discuss that too much but I'll be honest when I say it's a toss up as to if I'll ever see any real cash from this or not, a reality every low budget director faces but the fact that it can get on the video store shelves is surely a great start. And some people make a decent living off of producing and directing low budget films so who knows.
