Cineframe 24 and HDV

I have the Sony HDR-FX1 and it can shoot a Cineframe 24p (although not true 24p). Has any one else had any experience with this function?

Also, when I output in 1080i, my video doesn't look as good as it should be. i know HDV is a compressed HD, but still. Does anyone else work with 1080i, more specifically from the Sony HDR-FX1?

What capture and export settings do you guys use?

Short version. Cineframe works great as long as you process it correctly afterwards. If you doubt it, here is a video I shot on the FX-1 using cineframe24--
