Well I think I've put this off long enough. Time to get crackin' on this production. I am planning a trip to Austin, hopefully catching jpsheets to show me around and look for locations. Thats the plan as of Monday, which may change by the weekend. So watched The Dark Knight at midnight. Absolutely Amazing! My top movie thus far of the year!

Then when I went outside to leave, apparently my car was locked, and my keyless entry doesn't work, and I don't have a key to the door...so I was screwed...and didn't want to pay $20 extra bucks for Pop-a-Lock to come at night, so I'll have them come out in the morning. But I only slept like an hour if that yesterday, and have to put in a full days work. Then I spent an hour and a half with Matt, Gary, Kelly and myself trying to break into my car with coat hangers...no luck...

So writing night may be put off...but we'll see. I hope I can make it to Jasons wedding

Well, it's about time you got to it... man, wtf have you been doing? Screwing around? lol

It was more a time for the other two spend away from the internet, video games and the comforts of television...and me to drink beer and to piss and moan. We went out on the lake at 11pm, and the plan was to stay out till day break write, talking about stuff. But we couldn't find a suitable place to drop anchor. The boat would drift into the bridge, when we went down the river that fed into the lake. then we went out towards the middle of the lake...it was extremely choppy. Then it hit me...oh poo pooing poo...I forgot to poo...and Gary made a mad dash to the dock to let me go and do my biz! When we reached the dock, Gary's dad was there. Kinda creeped out but I told the boys that I'd rather go home and sleep. BTW its 3 something in the morning, and I'd been up for a major part of the day. So I've yet talk to the boys to see what they came up with but we did talk about movie stuff while I was there. Who doesn't like drinking beer in the middle of the night...in the middle of a lake with the moon nowhere in sight!? Anyhoos I need to get on the ball of making this puppy. I'll make some PM's and calls and get it started!

After careful consideration, I thought it wise not to do this film, one because I can't afford to do all I wanted to do. Two, I don't want to do it injustice, by not having my complete attention on it. There are things at the moment that I have my attentions on. I'm now working 6 days a week again and about to go to nightside perminatly and I feel that if I get into it, that I won't be completely focused on the project. He understands. But I will hopefully be able to do the flick at some point, just not at this moment in time.

Pauly, I appreciate your humor. I laughed out loud when I saw that thread you started.

Mark, give me a call when you get into Texas, I'll see what we can cook up and make the trek down to ATX. I'll be more outgoing than I was out in Cali. Promise. Is the entire Monster bunch coming out?

no, I didn't impress Johnson while I was out there. I was quite and reserve, and I'm sure he was expecting someone abit more lively...If I had to blame it on anything I'd blame it on being out in LA for the first time ever...kinda a culture shock to this Texas boy. But hes on my turf, so I'm sure I'll be more laid back and talkative.

Ha! You had no need to impress me or anyone else Rogan! If you are fine coming across with the personality of a phone book, then its all good! :) Seriously, we were simply surprised at the difference between your on-line persona and the character who got off the plane. Whether or not you are effervescent does not change the fact that we genuinely like you and hope you come out again and often. From your film and posts it is clear you have charm, wit and insanity to spare. But then you hit L.A. and Matt Gettemeier takes me aside and says, "do you think he's on sedatives?"

This trip will be myself, Tim and Luis. We're flying into the Austin airport at about 1:30 Friday. We've got a big dinner party that night on the North side of town but have no plans Saturday until the VooDoo Cowboy party. Jeez, I wish I could snag you guys an invite to it but its a notoriously closed guest list and we were lucky ourselves to catch their attention and be invited after they checked us out.

It does look like its only 100 miles from Waco to Austin so maybe it would be worthwhile to make a road trip to hang Saturday before the party. We'll know more about what's up after we meet up with the guys on Friday. I think I have your cell phone, Rogan, but PM it again and I'll call you Friday evening. I understand Austin is way cool and it would be nice to meet for lunch and hang out on Saturday if you guys are up for it.

World famous? :) I would actually love to make it out there. I told you that I will be out eventually since I have family in Texas, but as I posted in the thread you started, if one of the Monster's has room in his suitcase I will be there. :grin:

Regarding Dustin's attitude in LA: You were a bit quieter than I had expected, but I think I was quieter than everyone expected too so I can't complain. It was your first trip to the city and I can see how that would be a little strange. I was out of my comfort zone a bit too, but I still tried to be Penguin-y or something like that. :)
