i bought this very light from spec-comm, for the exact same purpose. it doesn't have the most powerful throw you've ever used, but that's actually been a good thing for the weddings i've shot. people hate getting blasted by camera lights you know?

it weighs almost nothing, and no battery pack. i've been very happy with it. it's made somewhat cheaply, but take care of it and it will take care of you.
