DIY Days event in Los Angeles

I'm going to this free event at the end of july here in los angeles. if anyone else wants to go, let me know and we'll meet up. it's going to be a day of panels and discussions and workshops on sustaining yourself as an indie filmmaker and how to fund, produce, and most importantly, distribute your work.

anyway, i'm going. if you are too, let me know. the site says to register but i don't know if that's really necessary because the event is free. i did it just in case.

So I am super dissapointed that I cant make the dvxuser film event on friday so I want to come out for this. I think it would be very informative. I hear that if have flight plans the Canadian goverment will rush passports out and if I trek it to Ottawa to drop it off it can be as short as 2 days, ya its a super risk but I think it would be amazing.

Wow, I'd love to be there. More over, I'd love to meet Zak (you'll be at the screening, right?) But I am going down on Friday for the screening so I doubt I could make it in just a couple of weeks. Sounds great, though, wish I could...

can't make the screening because I have our feature White Knuckles screening elsewhere that night. I will likely meet up with everyone afterword or at the BBQ.

So the passport system as foiled my plans yet again. So tomorrow im taking care of it once and for all. I hate having to miss all these events. If for whatever reason my passport somehow came in before the date I may take a last minute flight and sleep in a rental car. Just thought id update.
