Didn't know where to post this but I was wondering if there's a website where I can print dvd covers and discs? I would provide the art and dvd content, I just need a company that could mass produce them. Thanks a lot guys.

Discmakers (http://www.discmakers.com/)

Thank you very much Jim! I'm checking the site out right now.

If anybody wants to pitch in by giving other options, that would be appreciated it too.

I just had discmakers do short run of printed blanks in cases with full sleeves and they did a fantastic job and did it all very quickly. I've got a dymo cd printer at work and the ones from discmakers (inkjet, short run) look alot better IMO.

Oh I see, I see. I'm definitely gonna give discmakers a try. You got any pictures of the DVD the cover Jeff?

I do everything through http://www.createspace.com and try http://www.kunaki.com/ if you have a PC. They seem to offer the best deal so far but they aren't Mac compatible.

I've heard good things about Kunaki if you need to have someone take care of fulfillment as well.

Thanks all, I'm on a Mac so I guess I won't be able to take advantage of the other services. Discmaker does look promising enough though. Thanks again!

I use Mediafast (www.mediafast.net) for my duplication and replication. They are great, and best prices I have been able to find.

Write Kunaki and tell them, check it: out:http://www.maccrazy.net/2008/07/10/masters-adds-vid-for-iphone-3g-and-pushes-for-mac-integration-at-kunaki/

Saw that too, but it's still not nearly as cheap as Kunaki.

Createspace is good if you order 100. The price becomes about $3.00 a DVD. Which is great for a DVD dupe. But you go beyond 200 it becomes diminished returns are $1150 can get you 1000 DVDs add a little more and you can get a barcode in some places.

Do these services print directly on to the disk or do they print paper stickers?

I know that discmakers prints on the discs. I would imagine that any reputable company would do the same either with aninkjet or thermal system.

Yes, Createspace does too.

Alright guys, I may need to use the services of one of these companies and I'm preparing a quote that will include the costs of a run of 250, 500 and 750 discs. I guess they want to see how much it will cost when they finally decide on the exact number. I like Discmakers, but I'm in Canada. Has anybody had any experience with using them from Canada or know if there will likely be any complications if I attempt to have them shipped here?

Thanks,

Kegan

Is it all the same disc? If so you may want to go with replication, which I would say take a look at NWD at http://www.nationwidedisc.com

Yeah, it's all the same disc. Thanks Nate - I'll take a look.

Don't ever do 750 disc. It will cost you more than simply getting 1000 replicated and barcoded disc.

Are Kunaki discs duplicated (ie; burned) or replicated (like the ones you buy commercially)?

Thanks.

They're duplicated but with some kind of Japanese technology that allows them to play in all players according to the company.
