and I come across a televangelist. Normally, that kind of TV aint my bag but the televangelist was someone I had never seen before; Pastor Melissa Scott. Wow. She is smoking. Long brown hair, beautiful face, intelligent rap. An hour had passed before I realized what I was watching...

I did a google search on her this morning. Turns out, she was married to the late Dr. Gene Scott (somewhat of a maverick and an under the mainstream televangelist I guess). He was like a billion years old and married to this 2nd wife when he met Melissa Pastore....throw in an adulterous relationship...etc...

Then I find the kicker. She used to be a porn star under the name of Barbie Bridges. Apparently, she was a "sinner" until she was "saved" by her husband.

Now, I'm not smearing her. Heck, I was mesmerized by her for an hour last night. All I'm saying is this sounds like a story Hollywood would tell....

Hey, i happened to pass by that, too. Didn't get "mesmerized", though... but I have to ask... did she actually do anything with all the stuff scribbled all over the whiteboards, or was it just for show?

Actually, there's a lot more to the story! Check out the real TRUTH: http://www.thetruthaboutpastormelissascott.com/

I remember Dr. Gene Scott from my time in SoCal. Man, he was a disgruntled servant. I used to come across his show every once in a while and just get stuck watching him glaring out at the camera. What a personality.

Also, just throwing this out there... if any other porn stars need to be saved, I am a man of the cloth (Universal Life Church, 1998) and would be happy to do whatever I can to help.

That isn't exactly what I was thinking, but thanks for the idea... I guess.

All I'm saying is this sounds like a story Hollywood would tell....And if there are any miracles left to be had, they never will.

So many jokes I wanna post in this thread, but I'm gonna end up getting banned.
Allready had a post deleted the other day for telling it like it is, just another example of "when keeping it real goes bad" I guess.

Ah, Dr. Gene Scott. He was on one of the O.C. channels here for awhile. As I was flipping through I'd see him just sitting there, staring into the camera not saying a thing for minutes on end...strange indeed.

WOW you too, cool man.
I thought about it a while back but just figured it would be used against me when this country officially becomes a Theocracy :kali::cry:

Yeah. what a loser.

I've been here for a year almost already, wtf? And, I've only made to to L.A. twice; once when I was driving through on my way here last August and the second time a couple weeks ago when I came down to pick up my gf at LAX. Sheesh. I gotta get out more.

You going to the DVX festival? Sounds like a blast. If I wasn't going to NC next week...

You must have missed him being asked to defend his position on something.

You do need to get out more...

Yeah, I'll be at the festival tonight. And what does "next week" have to do with tonight? Next week is next week... so come to the screening!

HA! I thought you'd snag me on that. I have too much last minute sh*t to do before I go...I've got tons of stuff to do tomorrow so I don't think getting home at 2am after the drive or even worse, tomorrow after crashing somewhere would kinda hinder my progress.

But let me know how it goes. I'm sure its going to be a blast. I wanna get down there and start meeting people...getting involved more etc. Shoot I'm primarily a stage actor...I gotta start getting myself IN some of these flicks!
