Bit hard to figure out what is wrong... did you shoot progressive or interlaced.. HD or SD..

Does it look like a reverse field issue or stuttering...

Cheers

Sorry just re-checked your post... you shot 60i... what is the issue are you having.. fields reversed???

The HVX has a know problem shooting in 480/60i and it sounds like what you are describing.

i did shoot SD 480 60i

i don´t know , i just can see that the fields are totaly out.

and it will burn myself , .... how this crap can happen in a 6000 dollar camera..?

like i did already say , my old VX2100 did it better....

and i noticed that whem i shoot DVCpro50 it happens too , like whem i shot 1080 60i and 30p ,

no problens with 720p...

and the thing that is stranger tham everything...is that once i ´d shoot DVCpro50 and the footage was awesome...no problens...and other day i did it again and all lines out of their places...

other thing that i just noticed , i´m capturing footage from a PD170 im my hvx200 and i can see the same problens in the images..The HVX doesn't change the PD170 image, so look for the root cause elsewhere. Are you looking and basic interlace artifacts?

As stated, this is a known issue in every single HVX200 on the planet. This is not a FCP issue or even a field issue, this is plain and simple a BUG. Though they wont state it publicly (Barry prolly would) Panny reps will tell you that if you plan on ever shooting 480i, to not use the HVX.

The best that many of us can tell is that there is some weird over-sharpening happening that creates the artifacting you are seeing as field problems. The CCDs are 960X540 but everything is processed at full HD rez, then downconverted. That is oversimplifying it but bottom line, somewhere in that process, the image gets screwed up. There is no fix and no way around it.

You can deinterlace and then add some softening but it wont look as good as 480i from other cams.

ash =o)

I've repeatedly told people that 480/60i is not a good choice with the HVX. It does 480/24p and 480/30p great, but not 60i.

so try capturing the HVX footage with the 170. Sounds like its coming from the capture.
