View Full Version : 35mm Adapters

I've been looking into getting a 35mm Adapter for the HVX and it looks like the two options are the Red Rock and Letus Extreme. Does anybody have experience and suggestions on which one is more preferable? Also if I decided to get the HPX170 would either of these two adapters fit on the 170 or will I have to get an adapter?

I would guess they would fit the 170. Are they increasing the focal length though?
popular opinion is that the m2 has more light loss.
the current trend for all adapters is to have "flip" function to defeat the image inversion. which means you dont have to invert your external monitor or flip your footage in post.
only thing having the 170 will do is change the size of the connection ring.
