Has anyone experienced any AUTO focus issue with HVX (as the one I am viewing at the moment.)
Footage 50 PAL. shot to tape - AUTO FOCUS
The issues are:
> a very vague out of focus feel to wider shots. Hard to pin point the exact region of focus in the frame.
> surprising focus result where by the F.G is soft and the overlapped bg is sharp (and it stays that way)
The issues are not motion related and there is no focus "hunting" apparent
Close up and long lens are sharp as crystal
Maybe low light is a factor????
I realise that Auto Focus on 50i and 50p is "documented" as being slower. This is not the reason in these shots.
I am also wondering if these lenses can be collimated?
