I'm trying to transfer some 16mm films to video using the HVX, and in the LCD screen and on the footage I am seeing a light pulsation from the screen that I can't get rid of. I've got iris and focus on Manual, and I've tried every servo setting there is, but none of these things gets rid of the pulsing light, which happens about 1-2x a second, as seen in this under 1MB video link:

Any suggestions?

Get a telecine.

You're running a camera at 23.97 ish fps and the projector at 24ish fps. The pulse is that misalignment.

You might reduce the effect if you open the shutter to 350, but it still won't be perfect.

THanks for the info, PU.

(Telecine is not an option.)

I've had better luck shooting at 60 and changing the shutter speed. Its interlaced but you can deal with that later.
