Greetings all.
After a great day of shooting... and a very long week of working, I accidentally dumped a folder off my Mac formatted external drive that had several large MXF files and such on there. I discovered my sleepy-time blunder and I'm currently running data rescue 2 and it'll take all night to scan the disk. I'm hoping that since I caught it right away, and haven't turned off the drive or added anything else to the drive that I should be able to get the media back. I'm wondering if people have had success on the mac formatted drives in getting back all of their MXF files. If there's some work around, or other options and suggestions if this doesn't work. I'm hoping that it does and that my gigs of video are there. Any and all advice and suggestions appreciate.
i know about backing up and all that stuff.. just a problem of being up and too tired to think and still working.. If I can get it all back on the HD then I'll owe one to the man upstairs and anyone else who might have other options.
cheers all and thanks in advance.
