Does anyone know the manufacture date and s/n range of PMW-EX1's that have all the known issues resolved (ie, battery drain, backfocus, vignette, etc.)?

Supposedly those with firmware v1.5.

Not necessarily. I hope to find out when Sony included the new PCB that fixes the battery drain down issue.
