won't be tonight. should be relatively early tomorrow though, folks.
Larry finished building the system. We're just testing things out to make sure everything is in working order and will fix any potential bugs tonight and in the early 'morrow.
Barring any craziness, look for them hopefully by late morning, early afternoon Pacific time tomorrow (Thursday).
Not a promise. Just an update :)
Later,
Jason

Uhhh, don´t you get greasy fingers when you push it?
You should use the time till viewing to clean your phone.

Super cool! So does it mean that we can upload our movies to external sites once we go live?
Matty_g
06-19-2008, 04:41 AM

Goody goody!! Thanks guys.

Simon, does that mean you would rather watch a soccer match than the Timefest films!!:Drogar-Shock(DBG):

Yeah, we organized it and some friends are coming to my place and we will have barbecue and watch the game afterwards.

Well... the movies would still be there after the game. :D

Simon, I wish you the very very best. We all know that NO AIR is going to knock our slippers off. I cannot wait to see what you've put together.

You fancy people with your slippers and your crews. :nads:
Just kidding. This fest should be awesome!
Could be the best yet.
Good luck to everyone.

Best of Luck to Germany today. I can't stand the Portugese National team, mostly cause of the Manc playing Ronaldo. Germany always plays well during the knock-out rounds so here hoping they win tonight.

Ah man, this is awesome! I haven't been posting enough around here! I've been meaning to spread a lot more good and excitement amongst all the rest of the Timefest filmmakers here. Maybe I'm just particularly excited because I'm new to filmmaking -- but how bloody cool is it to have actually done it?
And, unlike in so many other fest where you're watching "other people's movies" -- you know the folks behind these shorts, at least a little! Not to mention that everyone here seem to be very good sports and highly supportive.
Chiming in to say "Can't wait! Good luck to everyone."

We've decided in the spirit of time fest, we are going to put all these films in a virtual vault until 2018 at which point we will open the viewing and voting period and announce prizes.
Next fest will be announced in 5 minutes.

The next fest will be called IMAXFest and can only be shot on 65mm film. Also, you must include one scene where your lead actor reaches the summit of Mount Everest.

WOW 65mm film, why not 70mm? Can we shoot on 70mm and resize the frame? Can we shoot on the Red Epic? :) How about the upload size be 1 terabyte, or forget the upload and have it screened in the IMAX theaters around the world!

Jason Ramsey is my PA. He's going to carry all the equipment for our shoot at mount everest, including the O2 tanks, and the O2 shortfilm so we have some entertainment along the hike. He just PM'd me a message saying so! What a nice guy!

No no! I just happened to be looking at his profile to see more information about the guy. I didn't write any sort of software that monitors each Mod's status and provides me with a feed. I don't have a bot that searches for keywords in their posts and reports back to me. And above all, I absolutely do not have a map with notes and details about their geographical location and whatever travel habits they happen to have mentioned on the forum or elsewhere.
Just to be clear.
