I am delighted to see some many films uploaded... AWESOME! Good for you! Good for me! (I can't wait to start watching your work.)
I know that old cliché but I fully believe in it... You are all winners!
Seriously, it takes a lot of work to prepare and produce a film. If you have submitted a film, then you must be proud of that. And I will tell you honestly that the greatest reward is having your work seen and reviewed. (Since I've never won an actual prize in filmmaking, I cannot actually swear to the authenticity of my last statement! :) )
So to you filmmakers... congrats. I will watch and comment on each.
To you viewers, thank you for sharing your thoughts. I know that, when I read them, they mean the world to me and help me to become a better filmmaker... not just comments on my work but reading the comments on the work of others. I love to see someone point something out that I may have not considered or may even disagree with. It's all good!
Again,
Congratulations!!!

I second that Ted!
I too wanted to extend my regards and wish the best of luck to all who have entered.
This site is a nice little, (well big really), family. I stumbled across it in the last year or so, and can't say enough good things about the community here.
Shortly after TimeFest was announced I finally got the cahonies to enter my first ever contest. I was so enthused by the support and guidance that was offered here, that I decided to take the plunge....It was a magical start, being consumed by every aspect of writing, producing, directing, and editing this film was the greatest buzz------but the realities of work, and having to make those deadlines weighed in much greater:crybaby:...oh well next time hopefully!!
But, I'm really excited to see all of your work!!! Congrats to you guys and gals who stuck it out, through thick and thin. And Ted's absolutely right, you should all be proud that you submitted your work. It's a piece of you really-
--way to lay it all on the line for the world to see-be proud, sit back, crack a cold one--and roll tape......

Thanks Ted! It means a lot! For me, being a beginning film maker this is the greatest environment to be in. I have learned so much from my entry. And I know it isn't the best one out there in this fest but the amount that I learned from this fest is its own prize to me. I am so glad I entered this fest! Sorry to hear yours didn't make it I was really looking forward to seeing your entry... But I will hopefully catch it next time around! Congrats to everyone and GOODLUCK!

Hey Clarkage, good for you for getting your film done and completed. That is awesome! (I was rooting for you when you first announced your entry.) You have indeed attained the greatest prize. And I look forward to watching your work.
And thank Michael. It has been a difficult two weeks. I was doing fine until my wife came by my work today. The pain in her eyes makes me want to break out a guitar and write love songs. Wow. It hurts. But it has got to be for the best.... right? (He asks rhetorically.)
Anyway.... didn't mean to be a downer there.
Woo-Hoo! You guys Rock! Bring on the films.
