audio/video plugin conflict

i just installed adobe premier elements on a computer that has Sonar, Reason, Adobe Audition (audio programs) installed on it as well. everytime i try to open it it hangs on a vst plugin and then prompts me to the internet for some reason. some of the same vst plugins in APE is also in the other audio programs.
has anyone ever heard of a vst plugin conflict with audio/video programs ?
i've has many people give me solutions but none that seem to work.
