Hey,
Just watched the above vid, couldn't see a mention of it on here, but if so then my bad.
Essentially the host took the 'cheap' LG blu ray burner and found it worked just fine on a mac even thou it's official specs have it as pc only. The downside? No playback of blu ray movies, burning only for now.
Either way, at 1/3rd of the price of the Lacie, looks a pretty good external blu ray backup solution. I'm always a bit twitchy about hard drives tbh.
