Fat ugly bloke ad-libbing and repeating the same words again and again and occasionally telling you something useful.

At least you get to look at it!!

Well done,
I have to say a great camera ~ just a tad out of my price range! I'll stumble along nicely with an EX3.

thanks. I won't be getting one. I have an ex3 on order and am happy with my f350. If i work for a client like the BBC or Sky HD who won't take those cameras will hire in a 700

Does the PDW700 have variable frame rates? Or is that only a feature in the EX line?

Philip your great on camera. I read on b-roll.net that 24p would eventually be added as an upgrade. I think this might be the next beta sp for broadcast and corporate procuction.

great if that is the case. the chip is also capable of doing over and undercrank. problem they have is if they stick all these features on it nobody will be the lower end HDCAM, just the top end ones.
