Hello,
Does anybody know when the EX3 will be out and how much it is going to be? Do you think that with it in the market, the prices of the EX1 will drop?

I'm hearing it's going to be almost twice the cost of the EX1. Based on this rumor, the EX1 price would probably not drop.
Early July around $13,000

As indicated, Sony has not officially announced pricing and delivery for EX3. The unofficial word is a list of US $13K. If it holds true to form with EX1, MAP should be no less than $10.5K.
Any pricing speculation on EX1 is just that-- speculation. These are impossible questions to answer. Pricing is a function of dollar exchange rate and supply/demand. The prices could go up because of the dollar or they could go down.
Either way, the EX1 and EX3 are two different market segments.
