They look color graded...even if we had a chance of knowing, I think after any type of manipulation that goes out the window.

I would say the dynamic range doesn't look good so maybe an older point and shoot?

Nope. Keep em coming, boys.

MAYBE a D40 with a kit lens? It doesn't look like a point and shoot, though it very well could be. He mentioned using a lens, so I doubt it is. I'm leaning towards a lower end DSLR.

Nikon D3 with a 17-55 2.8? Or maybe a camera phone.

Ok, fellas. It was taken with my recently bought Nokia N95. I'm not letting my D40 go anytime soon, but I found the quality on these pics are pretty amazing for a cell phone. I mean, I don't take my D40 EVERYWHERe, but I do take my N95 and it's nice to know I won't go ever again like "Oh man! I wish I had a camera with me".

wow a phone that's awsome.
Gotta admit, those are really good for a frickin phone. Kinda makes me rethink the whole ideal of having the internet on my fridge:)

Well, obviously I did some colour correction, but even so, to think that a cell phone is capable of giving you this type of results is incredible.

Yes, it makes me think about how fast technology evolves these days. I'm sure that soon we'll have cell phones that can shoot HD progressive video.

I'm sure that very soon we'll find it funny that we were impressed that these shots came from a phone.

Absolutely! One of these days I found an "old" audio cassette player I used to have and it filled me with nostalgia.

the new nokias and sonys are awesome, nice!
you scaled down the image, CC'd in PS? also did you add some blur on highlights or was that just a natural bloom?

I didn't scale down the image but I did do some basic cc on PS (mostly I touched the leves and that was it).
