Are we getting close to announcing the prizes? See rumors about a new way to vote too?
Can we get some updates?
I guess they are not telling yet!!

I heard the winner gets JDS's soul.
The devil went up to New York, he was looking for a soul to steal.
He was in a bind 'cos he was way behind: he was willin' to make a deal.
When he came across this young man filmin' on an HVX and filmin' it hot.
And the devil jumped upon a fire hydrant and said: "Boy let me tell you what:
"I bet you didn't know it, but I'm a filmin' fool too.
"And if you'd care to take a dare, I'll make a bet with you.
"Now you make a pretty good movie, boy, but give the devil his due:
"I bet a HPX of gold against your soul, 'cos I think I'm better than you."
The boy said: "My name's Jack Daniel Stanley and it might be a sin,
"But I'll take your bet, your gonna regret, 'cos I'm the best that's ever been."

So I am stoked. This filmmaking time has been amazing! Now that the door to submissions are closed, do we get to see the prizes? Also, I am excited to know how the voting system will break down. I too have heard the rumors of a new way to vote. I am interested to see how this all breaks down and what prizes are up for grabs.

Voting info and viewing schedules will be announced soon; the committee has to first verify all the entries, then Larry has to code the database to support the eligible and noncompete entries. Don't expect an announcement within an hour, but surely it'll open up within a couple of days. :engel017:

I heard that there is going to be a 50 gallon stipend for gasoline or choice of two gold bars as the prize? True? They are worth the same value, so it could be true...:evil:

(of course, we didn't say how large the gold bars would be.)
Actually, that's cheating, so I guess I should come clean: yes there are gold bars. But you have to extract them yourself:
