I posted a video following my son and I entering a bridge building competition at a nearby city. The entire video was shot on my HPX500, and edited in Premiere CS3 (great program by the way).... anyways, here's the link for the video..

I dont know bout anyone but thats the most pleasing color rendition that I have seen from a video camera. I guess thats that Panasonic color 'mojo' thingy. :)

Thanks for sharing the video. Hope you and your son had fun.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it.... I cannot say enough about the color rendition and the motion of 24p from the HPX500... I've had the camera for over 5 months now and i am still loving the camera.... i am glad i invested in the 500.

Nice. And I just discovered Vimeo too.... All I can say is WOWOWOW. I love the quality that things can be watched in.

Cool elements in the video. I like how your son said "Me and my Dad are building a bridge", but from the timelapse, looks like Dad was flying solo on that one...LOL

we were down to the last couple of days before the competition, and my son had made plans to go skiing that day and left dad to make all the support beams.... Yeah vimeo is really awesome, I've also used to show clients finished products. It has a password protected private video posting option which is great.

no, I shot the timelapse in 720 30p at different rates.... 1 frame every 5 sec, and 1 frame every 10 seconds for some. I was just experimenting with timelapse at the time. You can shot timelapse in 720 60p & 1080 30p as well..... I just stuck with 720 for this.
