I was always scared carrying a fully outfitted HVX on it's handle because it might brake. I wish the hpx170 has a sturdier one....

Absolutely though the likelihood at this point is probably really low. The good thing is that the HPX is lighter all around so the weight of 35mm Adapters etc won't be as bad.
This is why I want a RED ONE like cage setup for my HVX+Adapter, man. That'll make things a lot safer.
