We were shooting a performance tonight when one of the 16g P2 cards in an HVX came up with an error message in the middle of recording (had been recording to the card for about 30 minutes. When the cameraman turned the camera off and then back on again, the message went away but each clip was showing a red-x beside it. We took the card out of the camera at this point and switched to a new card, thinking that we could repair these clips after the shoot ended. However, when we put the card back into the camera to repair the clips at the end of the night, the camera flashed a "P2 incompatible" error message. A p2 store wouldnt recognize or mount the card on a mac with the P2CMS program.
We're hoping that this footage can be rescued somehow- does anyone have any advice for our next steps?
Thanks a lot!
