Just got the HVX200A opting for the A after viewing footage comparisons here on DVXuser. My question is....the 200A doesn't seem to be labeled as such on the camera anywhere. My previous DVX100A was clearly labeled as an A model and thus grabbed a better resale value. I would like the same to be true of the 200A, although it is quite a ways down the road. Any help appreciated.

Look at the tag underneath the viewfinder. It should say "AG-HVX200AP."

Also on the hood there is no Lecia Dicomar it is now on the inside rather than on the side.

But yea under the view finder you will see the 200AP.

Thank you! Without the camera in front of me my next guess was going to be under the battery but there it is....under the viewfinder. My distrust of corporate entities had me thinking that the only difference between the 200 and the 200A might be something like a firmware flash that could be downloaded later on....after I agonized over the $500 (with the $400 rebate) price difference between the models. I think I made the right choice....now to shooting.
