Hey,
I use both these programs for scoring or just my own music writing, and lately they seem to be lagging. I really can't figure out why. I'm using a new macbookpro so the computer speed isnt a problem. I also shut the computer off regularly. (i've heard leaving it on can put stress on the sound card)
The only thing i can think of is that my harddrive is nearly full. (8 gb free space) However Final cut pro works fine handling HD Footage, so i'm a bit confused.
