I have done this successfully in the past but I have three MAC and G5 and MAC Pro and a mac book. I've also browse other threats in there for answer and could not find anything .

I need to transfer the video out of P2 cards using the camera. I plugged the camera and the computer does not detect it.

I don't know if its a menu setting in the camera or the need of a software (I have the P2CMS software) but I have no drive to detected in the computer to browse in to).

Please help. The power book I used to have used to detect the camera as a hard drive I think. But now with either of the tools I have, I cannot do anything. PLEASE HELP. I am stock on a tim sensitive e project and need to get this done ASAP.

You ARE using the firewire connection in MCR mode, right?

Again, are you using the firewire connect mode, and the MCR button?

Let us know because your reply had a question mark.

I have the camera connected to the computer via firewire. But what about the MCR button?

By the way thank you so much for helping me out.

So here is what i have done.

- PLug the camera to the computer.
- Power the camera on then switch to MCR mode
- Then I wait for the camera to be recognized in the computer but nothing happens.
