Hiya,
I'm trying to work with the 'Copy to HDD' option. It seems to me, you need to start with an unformatted disc (or format it in camera) and it will create FAT32 partitions the size of the P2 card in the camera. Each time you 'copy to hdd', you create a partition.
Is there anyway to create a larger mac formatted partition at the front or rear of the drive and have free space for the camera to copy to? I'd rather carry only one drive with me than two. Since the camera has no problem working around partitions it creates, there has to be a way to work with it. Perhaps partitions that are 4GB multiples (I do believe that is the smallest P2 card size)? Or maybe only have FAT32 partitions (*gag!*)?
It isn't a big deal, but I'm trying to go as low-weight as possible.
If Panasonic can make a 300gig P2 card for $75, that would be great too ;)
