Sorry, but I think the new hoodman wristshot looks like more of a better solution to me. I'd love to read what people think of the wristhot though before I buy.

I can turn my tripod handle backwards, and I can also use my left hand to actually control the camera freely.

Perhaps for you.

However, the Camhandle also facilitates easy moves between handheld and tripod, a huge time saver. I don't believe the wrist shot has that capability.

How do you get proper focus and exposure with this device? Do you set everything to auto?

When handle held, I use auto.
