Yes, I am humbly aware of that! *:P
now, the weird thing is that my boyfriend is in the next room, but I was more excited to tell you all about the good news..than him?
is that bad?
or is it the internet thing?
or am I just another dvxuser nutcase?
--to be fair, I did tell him first, but...

just a few notables:
I have found people's wallets, cellphones, keys etc. in the past and always returned them, untouched. Good Karma..whatever you want to call it. spread it.
As you might have guessed, it was my brother's wedding band. I was with him when he lost it and I thought it was like this huge TRAGEDY! when you consider how far a ring can ROLL AND DROP, I looked and looked, though the longer we looked, we figured it was lost forever.
my dad lost his wedding band also ( the story finally came out...)
lesson guys: you can loose that thing pretty easily.
lastly..any suggestions on how much to "gift" the person with? caller said he was not interested in that, but I just want to. The ring itself is probably worth $400-500.

maybe you can do a wedding video for them or piece together something nice for them or who ever they are. Pooh, you should put your skills to work. ;)

a free wedding job would be be uber generous. a favor reserved only for life and death matters ;)
if it was my husband that "lost" his band, yes, then, it would be a life and death matter.
Hey Pooh...If the person said they weren't interested in a cash reward but you still feel obliged to give something, I would consider a small gift certificate for future shop or something of that nature. Enought to get a DVD or CD or something. It's nice when people return lost valuables. Good deal! :)

MY PRECIOUS !!
hahah!
My friend suggested I give him the "Lord of the Rings" DVD set.
I made a little sack with a giant heart shaped box of chocolates, 2 smaller chocolate hearts, and of course, the latest technological innovation in Crest toothpaste, and a toothbrush. Card, etc.
The "ringbearer" said it was okay to tell CRAIG--(craigslist success story.) My plan for that is pretty cool..as I have my brother's wedding video...

MY PRECIOUS !!
hahah, mino, that got a laugh from me.. ;D
Yeh me too...and I wrote it :-/
I didn't laugh. I thought it was the stupidest joke ever posted on this board. You should feel bad and never come back here again.
I kid, I kid. :D (I actually did laugh too.)
I'm glad you jest cos I suddenly realized that all my shit won't fit in this small suitcase ;)
:D
I often joke like that in person, and it's hard to translate that sarcasm into written words.

Yeh, it's funny, where I come from, sarcasm is quite often a sign of respect and born within a comfortable relationship of two freinds. I sometimes go there at corporate events when every fibre of me knows not to ;D

Although a newbie (joined last night with an "intro"

I feel at home here in the Cafe, with comrades.
Perhaps I have acquired a new addiction...

hmmmm...
Let's see..how long will it take this one to get to the next "rank?"
bronze..
I don't think it would be possible to surpass BLUESPIDER in rocketing up in the dvxuser chain in record time...
but go ahead shed your training wheels, anyway!
BTW- TC needs an avatar update as badly as Barry_S ( who I think is still some ghostly image? )

Thanks Pooh :D
I'm merely having fun with my "new addiction" and was not
expecting any star at all - only now can I begun letting go off
the self conscious anxiety of the one...
Though overwhelmed by the vastness of these forums groups,
and on the verge of becoming lost in the cyber world,
I will brave the risk because the assistance that I am getting form
ExFilms is well worth it 8)
Hope to "see" you again,
