Hi.

Im trying to exporta video using after effects to a quicktime format. the origional video is a .wmv at 25fps and the audio bit rate is at 48kbps.

So i set my quicktime export settings in after effects to H.246 codec at 25fps and audio to 48kHz.

Everytime I export the audio is out of sync. Ive tried various audio compressions and no compression at all on the audio and its still out of sync,

If anyone has any ideas it would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hiya,

I was wondering if you managed to figure this out? I have exactly the same problem in Aobde Premier cs3 with the same settings.

When its exported to .wmv file the audio is in sync but cant get it too work when exported to quicktime. If i found the answer out i'll let you know.

Cheers :D

*im guessing the settings will be similar to after effects

If you are using the latest version of quicktime, there are known bug issues with it.

I only use quicktime 6 coming out of AE, as QT7 has always been unstable, and not just the latest version. I have never had any audio sync issues.

I don't know about Premier, but I have always had trouble exporting out of AE at H.264. My suggestion is to export as Animation+ best settings. This is pretty much uncompressed. See if you still have the audio problem. If you don't have a problem then try importing the Animation Quicktime into Premier or Final Cut Pro and export as H.264
