I've purchased two V1U's and just like everyone else, this camera is not that great in low light. Instead of returning the cameras and getting a more expensive camera, what about a good reliable, bright, on-camera light? I've had some 50 watt lights, wearing a belt BUT that was with my PD150 and that camera is awesome in low light BUT I would like to hear back from V1U users about what camera light that they use for this particular camera and if the results are good.

Thanks in advance for the replies!!!!

You're going to need a LOT more light with a V1U. About 8x as much, if you want to match the sensitivity of a PD150.

I understand that because I've shot over 100 weddings with the 150 and about 4 with my new cameras.... can anyone recommend a light?

Thanks a bunch!!!

Lite Panels Micro http://www.s131567196.onlinehome.us/products/micro.asp

I don't have personal experience with them but I have used the mini Plus light and it rocks. Plus not heat and longer run time. All bonuses for a wedding guy I would think.
