I was having problems with my photoshop so i deleted and was going to try to re install it but it keeps saying "Adobe Photoshop CS3 cannot be installed because it conficts with
Adobe Photoshop CS3"
And I am assuming I did not un-install in correctly cause I just dragged to to the trash, but I have searched the finder and was not able to find any files that where still on my computer...
Anyone have any ideas for me to try?

Never just delete your old programs. It leaves a number of Dll's and registry files still on your computer.
Always use the uninstall program that comes with the specific program. If there was not one, use Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel and remove it that way.
You can search the registry for CS3 and remove them by hand that way but if you don't know what you're doing, dont. You can really screw things up in there.

It probably left a bunch of files in your library folder. Try going to /Library/Application Support and delete the Adobe folder (assuming you don't have any other adobe programs installed). Also, you might want to check in (home folder)/Library/Application Support.
You can also search for Adobe in finder and delete any folders that pop up.
But don't blame me if I break your computer.

Check Adobe's site, they had a CS3 uninstaller available for download a while back. I think a lot of people downloaded the demo and then had problems after they purchased the software because the demo timed out. The uninstaller seemed to fix the problems. It's worth a shot.

I had the problem milksac is referring to. There is a "clean up" script that will clear it out for you and let you install.
