Hi everyone,
I am just starting on a HD project that will be released on DVD and Blu-ray.
I'm shooting the intro and some other segments in 24pn (needs to look like film)
and thinking of shooting the rest with a "HD video look".
It's all action sports and I will be moving rather fast. way too fast for slow pans.
I understand how to shoot the 24pn but need to know the best way to shoot the
"HD video" segments for the fast action. I'll also be using 1080i HDV footage from contributing shooters.
Editing will be in FC pro 6.0.3 and will be using twixtor to slow down some of the action clips.
can I shoot 24pn in "Video Cam mode" at higher shutter speeds or do the same rules apply for panning?
should I shoot 1080i ?
will I run into problems in Final Cut with mixing different formats on the same timeline??
I must learn fast and really need excellent results.
what would Barry Green do ???
any advice would be greatly appreciated.
sincerely,
TXDVX
