Two of them are perfect to use as sturdy, upright indoor supports to hand green screen or backdrop. Even have hooks you can use to support the crossbar that holds your screen!

Nice find, and nice idea. I had seen these a few years ago, but never occured to me for green screen. Versatile too.

definitely going to buy a few of these tomorrow. I'm sure they'd come in handy for more than just holding up backgrounds.

If anyone buys some of these for a background, please post a review. I'm curious about build quality, how much weight they may hold, what the radius of the pole is, etc. This would definitely be a cheap alternative to getting autopoles.

I was going to say, looks more like a pole-cat to me! Wish I would have had that while remodeling the kitchen...

2 years later.....

Anyone know what the hell these poles are called?
I just bought 165 sq feet of chromakey fabric and these poles would be ideal for me to use.
