DVX100a - Premiere elements...

I have access to the DVX100a but the only editing software my college has is premiere elements... How much will this effect the quality etc? i have normally only used adobe premiere pro so i don't have much experience with a lower grade editing software. I also have the choice of iMovie.

If worse comes to worse i'll have to find a place that has adobe premiere or final cut pro but that may cost money i do not have at the moment. So what do you say?

What you use to cut your story with shouldn't have any effect on your quality at all.

Mike is right, it won't effect quality of footage. You just have fewer options with what you can do editing wise. If you are just doing straight cuts, there's no problem.
