Who has experience backing up HD content from the HVX to a Portable Firewire HD. How easy is it to put the content back onto the P2 Card from the harddrive. If this is a great way to go, what is the best HD Drive to get? Can I go to Best Buy or Circuit City to get one?

I have used a Seagate Freeagent Pro 320 Gb drive (which comes with a 5 Year guarantee !)
I needed to use my cards the next day, so did file transfer, it was verified by the camera which checks the transfer and confirms all is well, on the camera screen,
(no PC involved).
The drive was purchased solely for this purpose, as the HVX P2 system has to format the drive to its own specification. so this will be kept as my P2 storage unit.
Much cheaper than a Firestore unit !
