What are the chances they killed off those extra framerates in the 200A and the framerate hack won't work anymore? And is there the possibilty of the hack working on the HPX170?

I doubt they killed them. if anything, perhaps they would add them (which Barry didn't report that they had on the 200a... perhaps the 170, though).. but I don't see them wasting time or money to remove "non-existent" frame rate settings of the camera that have no long term negative side-effects.

I surely hope not.
I am a bit suprised they didn't add them in as 'officially supported' frame rates though.
nah, should still be there. the hack works in the HPX500, for example...

the hpx170 is supposed to do up to 20 framerates instead of 12(did I get it well), they didn't get the full range but they added some new ones(I still don't know which are those new ones).

Zero. The hack works just fine.
And is there the possibilty of the hack working on the HPX170?
Can't know that yet. If they took it away, there will be a hairpiece from the nether regions to answer to (in other words, there'll be hell toupee.)

correct... they actually added it to the line up. Funny the guy was all excited when he mentioned it during his pitch. I knew in the back of my mind that they probably saw what was being written here in this blob and added it.
They also said better low light, When I asked how much or how many stpops... he had no idea

The framerate "hack" is officially supported, just not in English.

ok i've heard of the hack for the HVX but never actually found out what it was. im getting my HVX200AP in a few days and was wondering if someone could point in a direction to see more on the framerate hack. thanks guys
